I have the news module running on my site here:
http://www.shareworld.co/index.php/resources/ipo-watch/
This is quite basic and it just shows summary then detail page.
What I would like is a traffic light system built into the module - so that when I post a news item, I can pick whether it is green, amber or red.
Then As the status changes, I can go back to that news item and change it to green, for example.
I do have a few different pages with the news module implemented, so I would like the ability to just use this system for this particular category of news items and not others.
Not sure how easy or difficult this would be, so if anyone can do it, please send me a quote.
Thanks in advance.
reuqest for quote to modify News module
Re: reuqest for quote to modify News module
There's no need for a modification .
You can use an extra field on News module to setting a colour. You have only to check the field value and use this for setting a css class so something red, amber or green will be displayed.

Or use two or three checkboxes. Unfortunately more than one can me checked, but you can use some kind of priority in your template of course.
