For several websites I upgraded the CMS from version 2.2.2 to version 2.2.3.1. All went well, but at some websites (not all) there still is an old-version-notification:
"Notice: You are currently running CMSMS version 2.2.2. Version 2.2.3.1 is available. Please upgrade soon."
System information shows the right version though.
I cannot figger out why some websites show the notification and other websites do not.
Anyone had the same problem and knows a solution?

I believe the CMSMS only checks its status periodically (daily?), so it takes a while to "catch up".

I'm afraid I upgraded the CMS of one of those websites more than a week ago.
So I don't think it is caused by a periodical version-check.

In that case.....pass!

The new message system is like a mailbox.
When you don't read and delete the message it will stay there...

That did the trick!
