[solved] My Account page goes error 500 after upgrade

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] My Account page goes error 500 after upgrade

Post by paulbaker »

This site was 1.12.1 and I have just upgraded it successfully (in that front end works perfectly) to 2.1.6.

When editing a page on the upgraded site I noticed that there was no WYSIWYG editor. On the 1.12.1 site this worked and MicroTiny was selected as the WYSIWYG to use on the My Preferences > My Account page.

On the upgraded site, I try to access My Preferences > My Account and I get a 500 error white page.

PHP error:
[07-Mar-2017 17:38:46 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'LogicException' with message 'This method can only be called for admin requests' in /home/cthuk/public_html/kingsley/lib/classes/class.CmsAdminUtils.php:77

I have cleared cache.

Help? ???

Try logging in as a different admin account, and see if you can access 'My Account' there.

Looks like there's something weird with your homepage preference.

Further, I notice that the small blue round "?" icons do not open up help windows when clicked as they should.

I also see "-1" in the Parent box on the Edit Content Page page, see image.

Thanks Calguy. I just logged in as another user (who existed in the pre-upgrade site) and the My Account page works normally. I set that user's preference to MicroTiny and that works as I would expect too, able to edit the Pages OK. Blue help buttons work normally too, popping up help.

Logged back in as main admin and that is also all working OK now.......how very odd... :D
