I am having this same error. I was getting an error like this on my home page, but I did reset file permissions now I get the same error you get below, but on the admin page.
Did you get this figured out.

do an integrity check (or whatever it's called)... sounds like you had problems with file transfers.

Dear albertosanchezm & xroads,
To verify that all files are correctly uploaded please use the following steps:
For a new CMSMS installation:
1. Download the "checksum" for the CMSMS version you are installing from
http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/downloads/
2. Upload the checksum during the installation process
For an existing CMSMS installation:
If you are able to log in to the admin area:
1. Download the "checksum" for the CMSMS version you are installing from
http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/downloads/
2. In the admin area, navigate to "Site Admin » System Verification"
2. Upload the checksum
Getting hundreds of files correctly uploaded to your hosting account trough FTP can sometimes be an issue, if you are using cPanel as a control panel you can upload the complete Zip file and exctract it on the server using the cPanel file manager. (Plesk & DirectAdmin don't have this feature afaik)
Greetings,
Manuel

The issue turned out to be my file paths in my config.php file. I got those corrected and the site came up.
