Do I need to learn wordpress?

Sorry guys, but I have to ask.

By the look of the support forums there is very little activity compared to a few years ago and my fear is that my choice of CMS is going the same path as BETA videotapes. VHS was an inferior product but the one chosen by the market.

I hope this is not the case. I never liked wordpress.

I spend a good hour every day responding to support requests on the forum, in Slack, over social media, and email. I assure you we're very much active.

There is less forum activity for various reasons:
-We haven't made drastic core changes lately, so less support is needed (most issues have already been answered).
-Our userbase has shifted to mostly be developers rather than people looking for an out of the box solution (there are plenty of sitebuilders now). Developers are more likely to search to see if their question has already been answered, or figure it out for themselves.
-Forums aren't the go-to support method for most people anymore.

CMS Made Simple is community-driven, so if you don't like something or you want to see change, get involved. Here's some ways: https://www.cmsmadesimple.org/community ... d-overview

Thanks for the replies, guys.
It's good to hear that CMSMS is still going strong.
I'm not a developer but a dabbler and learned heaps about CMSMS over the years.
It's great for users - way less complicated than Wordpress.
Typically, I've installed free or templates bought from Darko at CMS Template buddy.
Maybe it's time for me to find a developer to work with!
Cheers and thanks again.
