Captcha does not accept the correctly entered text

After upgrading CMSMS from version 2.2.4 to 2.2.7 and Selfregistration module from 1.13 to 1.14 the following problem occurs.
When a user tries to register the captcha does not accept the correctly entered text and display's the message 'The text from the image was not entered correctly'.
I followed exactly the same steps on my local copy of the website and there the Captcha gave no problem.
N.B. I added {cge_form_csrf} after {$startform} and {$formstart} in the templates of the Selfregistration en FEU modules.
Please help me out here guys.

I don't know why but the problem does not occur anny more.
I suspect that it had something to do with the cache.
Although I always clear the system cache before and after upgrading the modules.
