Content option missing on admin menu
Content option missing on admin menu
Need to make an adjustment on my website and the content option in the menu has disappeared. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: Content option missing on admin menu
Clear CMSMS cache? If not we'll need a lot more info. Screenshot might help too.

Re: Content option missing on admin menu
Hi Paul -- Thanks so much for getting back to me. I don't see an option to clear the cache. I'm attaching two screenshots. One is the admin side of our website ECS-World.com, and the other is another of our websites, Instabill.us (which shows what the ECS-World admin side USED to look like).
Re: Content option missing on admin menu
Seems this backend user isn't assigned to any backend group (admin, editor, designer).

And there is no username shown top right, on either of the screenshots... "Welcome: ________"
Do you have any other CMSMS logins for ECS-World?
If you have file system or FTP access get in there and delete all files in:
/tmp/cache/
and
/tmp/templates_c/
This clears your cache manually. That might sort you out.

Re: Content option missing on admin menu
Hi Paul -- No other logins. We have four CMSMS sites -- three of which I can log into and make changes -- that all have the same user and PW. Is there an update that might help (as long as I've been using these sites, 3.5 years, I've never done an update). Could this be an instance where my account was taken over and privileges reduced? I am at a total loss. It's been a long time since I've posted anything on this site, more than a year. Could CMS have made changes due to inactivity?

Re: Content option missing on admin menu
CMS Made Simple does not make changes due to inactivity. What sometimes happens is that hosts make a change to the settings or update PHP and this can cause behaviour changes to CMSMS and other systems.
Is the site that is not working on a different host to the others?
Is the login you are trying a main admin login with access all areas?
Try the cache clearing as suggested in my last message.
I can see from your screenshots that your CMSMS software is out of date, once you are in and working you really need to update it. But you need to gain access first, no point in updating a system with an unknown fault IMHO.
