New to the cms question about admin page

Hi very simple question here I have one site to manege and to create a new one and what I got confused when I go to sites admin page its yellow and when I go to the newly installed its grey and it has more options for edit this made me confused as I'm coming from word press world. images attached, anyway which one is which and can I access both on each web ?

The one with the menu on the left is a newer version of cms made simple, hopefully that is the one you installed and is 2.2.2 or 2.2.3.

The other is an old version of cms made simple and will need upgrading. You can find info about that process and lots of other stuff in the documentation area of this website.
