Rendering characters in fil names

Hi all,
I have recently Upgraded to Version 2.2.2 from 2.1.5. Links that contained filenames with a hyphen return an error. Changing the hyphen to an underscore displayed the document correctly.

Question is are there any other special characters in filenames that might cause and error?

I am not sure why the filenames worked in 2.1.5 but not 2.2.2
