[solved]No TinyMCE after upgrading to v.2.0

Post by saltydog »

Just upgraded to 2.0. Everything seems working but I don't have TinyMCE in my edit window. The settings are such to use TinyMCE as editor, but I only have a text edit window, no TinyMCE.

The TinyMCE module isnt updated for CMSMS 2.0 yet, use MicroTiny instead...
But I know airelibre is working on updating the module, so will be in the Forge sooner or later.

Thank you Rolf.This is solved.

I am making myself convinced that it is a little bit too early to put v.2.0 in production. See my other posts on the installer...

Any progress with this? I need to make tables in wysiwyg editor, no chance in 2.0, too bad... >:(

MicroTiny in CMSMS 2.1 now supports the Table plug-in. It is disabled by default so check module settings first.

Is there any update on this?

I am having to use MicroTiny with V2 and there is no image upload option. This is not good for admin when editing content.

I also find it bizarre that there is no longer a tab for global content blocks... this now has a silly workaround and done via page edit in V2. Showtime is also no longer working with V2. I really wish I had not upgraded. It is simply not ready!

Hi,

I'm happy to say that the first Alpha of TinyMCE 3.0 for CMSMS is out!

This is only a development version that you can use for tests, not in production.

Check it out here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/project/files/12
And discuss here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... =7&t=74038

Happy tests ;)

Thank you mayman - For Showtime, the project seems to be stale - I personnally prefer to use Gallery even for slideshows, better control and less problems with editors.
