CGSmartImage renders a somewhat seo unfriendly file name, but okay.
However, responsive handling does not work, as I noticed, and was confirmed. So I try to add http://adaptive-images.com/ and it works on most images.
CGSmartImage needs to force extensions though. But in combo Gallery/Lightbox2 it doesn't work fully. Not sure why. The enlargement stays empty. Any ideas here?
Another approach would be data attributes and maybe use the solution of aFarkas or scottjehl/picturefill.
I also noticed the request to implement support for HTML5 data attributes.
That might be a step up too.
