CMS online-tool not working properly

Post by DirkK »

Dear all,
I am new to this cms and started to edit a website a friend of us has designed using this tool. Further I am not quite an expert so my issue is probably my own stupidity. Sorry for that.

We work on line (website-address/admin) and login. It worked briefly. I tried to upload a module. After that the admin area is not working anymore and looks like this

. I have no problems with other websites.

Your help/solution is really appreciated.
Thx. Dirk

Hi Dirk, welcome to the CMSms forum.

May I start to say that CMSms also has a very active Dutch community with our own forum section here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewforum.php?f=13

To answer your question: The newly added module probably generates an error.

Which module did you try to install?
You can disable it by renaming the module folder name in directory modules/

Hello Jos,

many thanks for your quick response.
I couldn't find a topic on Accessability/Usability in the dutch forum. That's why I turned to the general forum.

I have installed the module avplayer.
This is the message I receive when clicking "modules":
Fatal error: Call to undefined method avplayer::RestrictUnknownParams() in /home/advanced-rt.nl/public_html/modules/avplayer/avplayer.module.php on line 209

Only clicking modules generates a reaction as above. All other links in the tree are not functional anymore...

What can I do?

FTP to site and rename offending folder...

It helps to state what version of CMSMS it is and how you installed the module...
