I just recently started a new site with CMSMS 0.11.2 after using 0.10 for quite awhile and i found it quite tedious to delete all the default templates, stylesheets etc - i'd already designed all my own.

While i can see the benefit of the default content - i learnt a few extra tricks from them, i think it would be good to have the option to install them or not - does this exist and i simply missed it?

In install procedure (IMHO step 3) there's an option "Install sample content and templates".

Without this option it will be installed only a light variant of default page

There is an option but it only reduces the content pages to one, see my comments in:
