Text only (no images) verison of pages and navigation

Post by stevegos »

Hi

I have a great looking web sites with graphics and images. But for accessibility and access to those with vision problems I want to create text only versions of the same pages.

So the result is a page that has the navigation down the left side (with all navigation menu's visiable in one go) and the text on the right with any images stipped away.

was thinking I could produce a separate css for the navigation but not sure how to strip away the images.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Steve

Create a properly structured web site and then make it look like how you want with CSS. Provide a switch to load without CSS or better still minimal CSS and you have one web site with two views. You can create more views if you want....
