Te admin search is great function. I noticed however it doesn't search all templates and it also doesn't search in UDT's. Would it be possible to add this functionality?

Not sure, but I think the new 2.2 release has an extended Admin Search function... Or it is at the list for 2.3... I have seen it passing by recently

Admin search certainly searches templates. That's been in there for a while.

UDT's is a good idea... They are getting replaced in 2.3 anyways so it's a good time to add that type of functionality.

I thought so too, however I was searching for something I knew was in one of the templates, but it wasn't shown. I'll keep an eye on it and post if I find an inconsitancy.

Was able to reproduce the item I couldn't find in the template.

I have a template named 'jQuery', template type is Core::Generic. I searched for 'cycle2' via Admin Search and it mentioned 'finished' without any result, however if I look inside the template, than the string is there. A part of the template code:
