changing link colours in the news module

I have an on blue site with a box on white that contains the news module.  the link colours for the main area are too light for the news module area, however I can't get into the code to make the news links a different class - at the moment I am simply changing the behind them to a dark colour but it doesn't look as good as it could. 

has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?

Please look at news module admin. There you will find the summary template. There you will also find the css classes you should use to style news for your layout.

For instance there's a class NewsSummaryMorelink which should clear your problem.
