I am looking for a module that allows to uploads mp4's to a folder and adds to database so we can add Title, Category,Film Genres,Description and add Video Thumbnails etc.

I did try making a module using CTL Module maker witch work great the only thing i cant get to work is plFileHandler with it. If I could get to work i would be happy. But I think I come to a dead end with plFileHandler as not been updated over a year.

Can anyone know a module can do this. I looked at the most of the video modules. I cant seem to find one that does a simple job. have I missed a module out?

I am all most giving up on CMSMS as Modules are out of date and not maintained. CMSMS core is great. I Love it. The best CMS I come across so far.

Can anyone help and point me in the right way.

I have the lastest CMSMS installed.

If you're not familiar with LISE you need to check it out and start playing with it. It's replaced a lot of modules like video players and other item management modules because it's just so easy to roll your own.

LISE shows as stale but it's still under active development. JoMorg is working on a major update, so the minor releases have been on hold for a bit. It works fine on CMSMS 2.2.10 and PHP 7.1 (a few minor php errors on PHP 7.2+)
