Phonegap & CMSMS

Hi,

Has anyone attempted to combine a CMSMS installation with an app created using phonegap?

Just thinking out loud currently and searching the web for various multi-platform app solutions. I am an ardent user of CMSMS and so finding a way to combine a CMSMS web project with an app could be quite useful.

I am not talking about trying to create a CMSMS admin app, just a way to publish data from a CMSMS driven website in an app and post data back to the database.

From what I have read so far it should be possible to, for example, publish a news feed in XML format and use that data to display the news feed within the app.

Pushing data back into the database is still something I am reading up on.

Any thoughts/ideas/contributions welcome
