Video library for CMSMS backend - Maintained

Post by fearmydesign »

Hello everyone, I finally have time to make backend video tutorials for CMSMS and I want to do them right (with audio/video explanation etc)... I read the following thread below and got some really good ideas. I also read the CMSMS trademark agreement, but I am unclear as to the use of the logo... here is what I have in mind;

I want to put my company logo along with the CMSMS logo (both same size), and then start the video... all my CMSMS sites admin all have the CMS logo and copyright at the bottom, I never touch that, so it would all show on the video... I am just looking for an easy way to show clients how to make changes to their websites, manage their site, upload photos, login, etc etc. I also plan to keep the library (videos) up to date with latest versions etc.

Is this ok? under terms? would this benefit anyone? I would put this on our YouTube channel... hope to get some feedback, thanks.

I think if you are making them for public consumption you are best off only having all default CMSMS look, logo, admin, etc...

Yeah, I agree, and I thought about this, but it will take a lot more work for me, as I would have to create a separate branded version with my business logo, and that's why I was thinking to include both logos... but I love CMSMS so I will probably just do a complete CMSMS brand and just redirect my clients to those videos.

No, but I've made a few e-learning video tuts some time ago. Any particular doubt I can help you with?
:) I'd be glad to help where I can!
