Post by anivision »

What happend to the Module Manager?
I get this message when opening it:
Although a connection was successfully made to the specified module repository. It appears that this repository is not yet sharing any modules (http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.p ... Repository):

Script is being modified. Takes some extra time....

You can download the modules you want using dev.cmsmadesimple.org and then use the XML/ZIP to install as well...

First time trying cmsmadesimple and I'm really liking it,  took me 30 minutes to get a full site running.

but i do have the issue mentioned above

I'm running it on my wamp, using the latest version of cmsms

CMS Version

1.4.1

and I get this error when i want to access the repository

Although a connection was successfully made to the specified module repository. It appears that this repository is not yet sharing any modules

Yep... the MM-script is re-written.. Takes some more time....

Use the dev in the meantime, for downloading new modules...

Hi,

I read up here and as of yesterday 11-30 - the repository was not functioning... I have done an install of 1.4.1
and everything is working fine except the module manager- Pleae let me know if the repository is functioning so that I can determine where the problem lies... FYI the URL in module manager>prefernces =  http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.p ... Repository

is this correct ?

Also

the message I am recieving is that the connection has been made but it appears that this repository is not yet sharing...

thank you

It's an issue on our end.  After the new forge went into place, we lost the easy way to pull the list of modules out.  It's on my TODO list for (hopefully) today.

Ted,

Thankyou very much for your reply - it will in one sense be academic - but it could be helpful  to know when it is working on your end so that I can cross check my functionality

regards

Will do.  I'll try really hard to remember to post again when it's working.  :)

Hello

Thanks for the good app

The list reappeared on the 'module manager', but a soon as I click on 'download and install' I get :
ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found.

I tried it for SitemapMadeSimple and CGGoogleMap.

Thanks
Ben

You need to install the CGExtensions module to use these.

Thanks for the tip, sorry for the stupid post.

However I think
The CGExtensions module could not be found.
Should be replaced by

The CGExtensions is required to run this module
or
Please install CGExtensions module to use this module

Anyway, it works now  :D
