Re: The new look of CMSMS website
I don't think that sarcastic comments or even non-sarcastic comments about browser marketshare is really helpful here.
I think the point that should be made is that some browsers treat CSS in different ways. It's ironic in a way... CSS is supposed to be -the- standard yet some browsers display things differently than others. It almost seems pointless. Fortunately most browsers behave but for a few issues that are usually easily corrected by some CSS hacks to address a particular browsers deficiencies.
An effort should be made to make the website work in as many browsers as possible reagardless of the "marketshare" of a particular browser.
If the CMSMS site isn't working correctly on the browser of a person considering CMSMS as the basis for a website deployment, then how likely is it that they will choose CMSMS?
As the old saying goes, "You only get one chance to make a good first impression."
There are several websites on the web that provide a way for you to check your website in just about every browser imaginable to make sure it views properly across different browsers. Google it and check it out.

The marketshare of Browsers you can see here:
http://www.webhits.de/deutsch/index.shtml?webstats.html
Opera has 1,3%.
IE 6 and IE5.X over 50%.
It is a good decision to make a web working with this browsertypes.

Re: The new look of CMSMS website
Thanks for the bug reports everyone. The menus in Opera should now be fixed, please let us know if you are still experiencing issues with this.
Can the folks having issues with the right-hand tabs tell me which OS you are using, and which version of FF? It is definitely our intention for the public facing website of CMS Made Simple to work correctly, and be accessible, in all major browsers.

Re: The new look of CMSMS website
Why should you support Opera?
Maybe because it fully and correctly implements CSS2, and is the only browser created by Hakun Lie, the inventor of CSS?
Who cares market share? This is a vision of a perfect web, where sites are coded to be 100% compliant . If a browser can pass ACID, then sites should work in it, in my opinion!

Re: The new look of CMSMS website
I'm looking into the homepage tab issue, but am having trouble reproducing it on my machine.
Also, the forum now has the new CMSMS theme running. There were lots of CSS conflicts, so please report any issues you notice.

Re: The new look of CMSMS website
Thanks to Reneh for locating the issue that was causing the home page tabs to be funky. Unfortunately, it's due to a Firefox bug when a minimum font size is specified. Due to the fact that Firefox allows you to set a minimum font-size only in PX, while the site is coded in EMs, it causes a conflict.
Mark: Please take these steps and let me know if the tabs are still funky.
1 - In Firefox, navigate to Tools -> Options
2 - Click on the 'Content' tab.
3 - Click on the 'Advanced' button under Fonts & Colors
4 - Next to Minimum Font Size, select 'None' from the drop down list.
