I NEED HELP!-SIMPLE QUESTION- PLEASE! Topic is solved

Hello,

This is probably going to sound like a dumb question.  But I'm really struggling with this.  I'm tranffering data over from our current site to our test site.

1: I'll make changes on CMS, hit submit, and then look at the page, and it looks fine.  And then when I go back to make any other changes, it automatically-formats all the pictures/text to the left, and gets rid of all my spacing for one of the pages...
And on some of the other pages, when I type a sentence and hit 'Enter', it goes down 2 spaces instead of one....And then on some other pages, it only goes down one space, but when I view it on the site, the sentences are overlapping each other slightly.

2. I also get random question mark symbols as well.


Now I tried taking the text, and pasting it in notepad, and copy pasting it again, to try to get rid of any coding, and that didn't work.

Does anyone know why all these things are happening and what I can do about it pleasee?Huh

the key to all this when in the edit page is select at the bottom  turn WYSIWYG  off,
then you will be able to see any coding that has been added

if when hitting enter is moving two lines this tends to be because you are creating a new paragraph instead of
to overcome this use SHIFT+ENTER instead

if sentances are overlapping that will normally be caused by a template issue with the css spacing so the divs may require either some formatting or simply a few RETURN keys at end of content to allow site to style correctly

the random ? i rather unsure of though i presume may be linked to what i stated above regarding code layout possibly upon the edit pages.

if site is reformatting to left seems that caused by css overiding the edit, may be worth changing some parts in stylesheet that will overcome this

Please read the various sticky posts in the various forums, as well as the README FIRST topic before posting.  Post useful information, and give us enough information to help you.  Otherwise, you're just wasting everybody's time.
