Vertical menu operation

Hi firends  ,

I need some help regarding vertical menu.
I have a 4 level vertical menu operating very well. What I need to do is that when I click in the second level of the menu it have to show only the butons of that level and make disapear the other butons of the first level (not just collapse them, but make them not visible). As well as when I select 3-rd level it has to make the same thing with the second level.

Is there anybody who knows how to do this?

OK so say your on the second level and that is all that is showing, 3rd, 1st, 4th, all gone not collapsed, how you going to be able to get back to any other level?
