I would not mind doing that...

(if only to stop you from feeling lonely in your own team :)

Hello Patricia and the QA team !

Serious testing ? bug discovering and fixing ? regression testing ?
Awesome ! Thank you.

I can't join the team because I can't promise I will download actively and strongly test.
But I can write some bits in the wiki from time to time : feel free to ask.

Happy quality improvments !

It looks like this group is not very active. I'd like to know who has the main responsibility of the QA activities at the moment.

QA is not that formalized today. Quality contributors are the people who :
-test software,
-report bugs,
-file bugs in the forge,
-submit fixes in the forge,
-improve documentations,
-hint tips about hosting contexts,
-et caetera
I don't know who is QA Head today. But you can offer to join and enjoy.

I sent request to join to QATeam yesterday. Hopefully the admins of that group will read their mail every now and then.

The plan is to start to formalize the testing efforts. But we'll see... Ted knows more about the plans.

Good news. Now I have taken over the QATeam. I have began to formalize the work with small team which will be announced later. I have initial permission to use some of my co-workers from quality consulting company to formalize the testing efforts. It is project for us, so it will end at some point. I hope we are able to produce usable regression testing set with automation, but also do the functional testing of forthcoming 1.5.

I really hope that the community will take over our work at some point. Or at least start to use the ideas which we will give.

Yes, great !

BTW I like very much that your "co-workers from quality consulting company" have an interest to contribute.

Hello Teme,

I'd like to point two things to your team :
1)Release notes http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... l#msg74537
2)Sample htaccess with trailing slashes issues. http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... #msg130868

May be I should have begun a new thread. Sorry for any inconvenience.
