not ugly URLs : internal XOR external

Hello,

Mark has pointed in another thread a mistake of a user having a config.php activating both internal pretty URLs and mod_rewrite. How is/should be this handled ? I think it would be better if the admin console issued warnings about such things : it wouldn't need users posting complete config.php and poor support human people trying to find oddies. What do you think ?
