PHP error in translation center

In the translation center I’m getting the following PHP error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/www/cmsmadesimple.org/translations/workdir/modules/DownloadManager/lang/ext/de_DE.php on line 32

The module list works until this point, it stops after this error.
Could anyone fix this please? Calguy1000?
Apparently something in the translation has screwed up the parser (missing or not escaped quote, for example?).
