(SOLVED) Minor translation error in FormBuilder German

Have a translation or something? It goes here. This can mean modules, documentation, or CMSMS itself!

(SOLVED) Minor translation error in FormBuilder German

Post by reinhardmohr »

Hallo,

I found a minor translation problem in module FormBuilder. When I add a checkbox in a form there are several settings for this checkbox in the FormBuilder-setup. The English version for the checkbox probably says something like: "Checked?" or "Preset as checked?"
But there are two German translations for the word "checked". The first one is "überprüft", the second one is "angekreuzt" (oder "Häkchen gesetzt").
So here it should be something like "Standardmäßig Häkchen gesetzt?" but it says "Standardmäßig überprüfen?". (See attached screenshot for clarification!)

This is a bit confusing – so whoever is doing this translation (probably it will again be Cyberman? thanks) might correct it with the next update?

Thanks a lot

Reinhard

Thanks again Reinhard!

It's now translated as "Häkchen voreingestellt setzen?"

You can download this language file here

http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/transl ... /de_DE.php

FormBuilder is a very complex working site. It's one of my hardest translations I have to do  :-\ ...

Thanks a lot for helping.

Please don't consider it a crticism when I post a translation problem here. That‘s one of the few things I can do to help improving CMSMS.

Thanks for your translations and for this great CMS!

No, I dont see it as critism ... I like such input, I need such input!

Some years ago I take the time to check the translations directly with module so I can see the errors and mistakes.

But now there's so much to translate so I have no time to do it in the same manner :-\.
