Change My Settings - location of its language file

Have a translation or something? It goes here. This can mean modules, documentation, or CMSMS itself!

Change My Settings - location of its language file

Post by docman »

Hi, I try to translate the labels on the form (screen capture image attached), but cannot locate the lower case entries in the only language file I found for the FEU module.

Thanks.

They are probably the names of the variables that you use in the form.

Yes, they are. I would like to translate them, though if that is possible. It seems, though that it is more difficult than tranlating lang strings. In future release, I would certainly recommend to keep all literal definitions in the lang file.

They come with the default template you use, you could rename them there...

Personally I allways use their ID-number in the templates, as then the variable/label doesnt change when you rename them...

In your opnion, can these variable be translated in the form I attached previously. If so (via a replacement) what files I need to look into so that I do not miss any files where these variable are being referenced to. Combaning evrything to be translated in a single lang file seems like the safe way to go about translation, but in this particular case it would be rather unusual to leave the as is (in English).

Thanks.

Could you possibly identify the files that I need to deal with. I looked, and could not find these form, only those of login and logout.

Thanks you.

I guess that these are the labels of the properties belonging to the group the user belongs to. Check the edit-link in the groups of FEU.

Arent they the 'properties'? As first you make properties, and then you attach them to the group... It looks like it are these..
