Cant reproduce 3. with winxp IE6.

frontend css doesnt validate becouse there are few IE specific css hacks. thats why you create new theme from scratch everytime you start a new site ;)

really those default templates are ment to be examples of what can be done (well they could be better, but taken all these browsers especially IE it most probably wont happen before IE8) One should really create own templates for sites or check templates.cmsmadesimple.org or oswd.org or .

Error in install.php

if you have the settings of max_execution_time 0  it means  - you have unlimited time - install.php means it cannot install cmsms.

if anybody has problems with the checking kill this part  of install.php

look here how to make that:

2. Strange, find screenshots of what I mean below. One is with the default style.css and not showing  the message/error boxes, the other is with 'enhanced' style.css that does show the boxes.
3. agree to some extend, but a lot of people use the standard templates/css as a base to work from. So, if those are not valid css/html, one already starts of on a wrong foot, I believe.

I just removed the max execution and max input checks totally from the installer.  They weren't really needed. Thanks!

Ted, You're A BOSS !
And the Team is SO great, too...

I'm not sure I'll be able to wait until 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 to test it !

Thanks !

Me thinks you have a problem with your IE.
What ver. and what OS?
It shows fine on mine.

Running IE6 on XP pro with latest updates etc, just following MS update tools. I also use the Sun Java Plug-in 1.5.0_08, if that might be relevant.

Thing is, that with the hacks in the css it works fine (also in FF).

I habe IE 6 with latest update and Java Plug-in 1.5.0_07  and no problems in this way.
I think that is not a problem with the cmsms.

I too got my hands on a winXP machine with latest IE6 (english, some languages seem to have updates differently)

I think we shouldnt add hacks if its only some IE6 version with one upgrade less or more..

Der Rudi: can you test with other machines?
