As promised, we have released CMSMS version 1.6.9 which represents a minor security fix on the 1.6.x series.
There are no bug fixes, or enhancements in this release... in fact the change is only one line in the News module. However those of you that are using the 1.6.x series because your host does not provide PHP 5.2.x should upgrade as soon as possible.
This does not mean that the 1.6.x series is supported by our support personnel, however we do feel obligated to handle security vulnerabilities as we become aware of them.
