New website

Post by Ted »

Thanks to westis and binarybee for all of their hard work over the last 2-3 weeks.  They've done a wonderful job of coming up with a new look for the site.  Westis then went further with it and integrated the forum and Trac to all fit into the same look and feel.  As a result, I've moved the bug tracker over to Trac, since it allows for a little better organization of bugs anyway.

Any problems or weird issues should be directed to this post.

Thanks again guys!

Thanks! We hope this will make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. Now everything CMSMS is found in one place. Now it's just writing the documentation.... :-)

Any suggestions on improvements are welcome! And as Wishy wrote, if you find something odd somewhere, please let us know. If you're looking for something and have difficulties finding it, let us know too so that we can change the navigation to make the site stand up to the name of the CMS, CMS Made Simple... ;-)

N.B. If the forum images are still the old ones, you may have to clear your browser cache.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing yesterday.  Since all of the html is pretty semantic, I think it would be good to throw some /> in some tags and make it xhtml transitional.  Just for consistency sake.

Just a test to see if I would still get any "errors on line .." like I did yesterday, everthing seems fine though :-).

It would be good to make the whole thing xhtml transitional I guess. All and all I think it looks nice and fresh, it would be a good thing to have some more testimonials from cmsms users to put online, so guys and galls : let the crew know why you use cmsms!

That's fixed now. "Unreplied Topics" is a mod that isn't included with the default installation of SMF. And as the default theme isn't used the mod had to be applied manually to the new theme.
