Re: Anouncing CMS Made Simple 1.1 Final
This is a great release - thanks again for the awesome work.
One thing I did notice:
When changing the page order on the pages page (as well as using the page re-order function) I get big javascript alerts filled with what I assume is debugging information. The re-ordering works fine otherwise.
This is a fresh install of CMSMS 1.1 in Opera 9 on OSX

Got information from users that installer breaks on PostgreSQL.
And it's a little bit difficult to run SQLite cause db is placed in install folder which should be deleted after install ...

Re: Anouncing CMS Made Simple 1.1 Final
Is "instellec's" way of upgrading the correct way to do?
Maybe somebody could provide an official upgrade-documentation as there are no diff files this time and I dont want to keep "dead files" and a mixed installation if files were deleted etc.
Would that be possible?
Good to know would also be how to migrate the installed modules if they need special procedure. I tried the upgrade but TinyMCE was crashed so I didnt do it.
So an official tutorial would be great.

Re: Anouncing CMS Made Simple 1.1 Final
Hi Folks!
I have a similar behaviour with cmsms 1.1 in my news "sidebar".
Warning: Parameter limit is not known... dropped in /is/htdocs/wp1064090_EUSMPMQT6D/www/lib/misc.functions.php on line 1252
admin - >global settings -> allow parameter checks to create warning messages is unchecked
news tag is {news limit=3 detailpage='news' category='general'}
I reinstalled the news module wirhout success.
Any ideas? Please help...
Martin

As message said parameter limit is unknown ... try instead number='3'.
Re: Anouncing CMS Made Simple 1.1 Final
Thank You!
Of course it works with number instead of limit!
I was blind but now I see...

Re: Anouncing CMS Made Simple 1.1 Final
Unfortunately TinyMCE does not do a thing, just HTML is seen in a box and the Image Manager displays 'Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.' File Manager works though.
It was doing the same thing with 1.0.8 too though but now there is no WYSIWYG that is working as FCKEditor is gone (and uploading images did not work either with that).
Any idea!? Thanks.

Sorry, the search-tag looks like this now:Pierre M. wrote:How ? Please share both the problem and its solution.Stringfellow wrote: Edit: *fixed*

The problem was the submitbuttons label (submit="Sök"). I changed that in the search-tags settings instead.
{$startform}
{$inputbox}
{if isset($hidden)}{$hidden}{/if}
{$endform}

Hi neighbour,Signex wrote:
kinda pissed though that it has written over my TinyMCE functions, now i cant get my regular functionbars back because the 2.2 version is stripped, that really sucks.
It there a full version module somewhere?
glad to see that I am not the only one who is not so happy with the 1.1 implemtation of TinyMCE.
What I did was:
- uninstall TinyMCE in the Module administration
- rename the "TinyMCE" folder in "modules" to "TinyMCE_old" (just to be safe!)
- Copy my old, trusty TinyMCE files into "modules"
- Install this version in the Module admin
- Call up TinyMCE properties and save them
My personal version of TinyMCE is available here:
http://downloads.anthope.net/
which includes
- the current TineMCE Version 2.1.1.1 from May 2007
- a fully translated cmsmslink module (in German)
- German language activated in the Compressor Version
Best wishes from East Frisia
