Re: applejack.co.uk thoughts please

Yes very attractive design.

I second voxberry, I too have Firefox 3.5.3 on XP and it does this for me too.  IE 8 on the same machine is fine though.

Cheers

Re: CGCalendar - CMSMS internal link is not parsed in my upcominglist template

OK I have answered my own question.  This is due to the way TinyMCE creates internal links - there are 2 ways.  It works OK using the style. To alter TinyMCE - in admin go to Extensions -> TinyMCE WYSIWYG.  Then hit the Advanced tab and change "CMS-linker link-style" from {cms_selflink} to...

I haven't used that particular module (yet) but may be able to help if you supply a URL so I can see the form HTML.

Re: RSS2HTML Module-

In your page you should have something like {cms_module module="RSS2HTML" feed="Weather in Maidenhead" template=" Weather "} Go to Admin home page -> Content -> RSS2HTML Click the Templates tab.  Click the edit link to the right of the template you are using (Weather in...

Re: GAllery and ie 8

I took a look with IE8 on a PC.  It looks like you have changed the page now to image_rotator.  What was the issue with the Gallery display?  I have a plain vanilla Gallery on a site of mine and it looks OK in IE8.

Re: Image Rotator - Invalid XHTML

Just wanted to thank Alby for posting this......just installed and works nicely, displaying all images within a folder. Had trouble with it at first but then spotted TinyMCE (WYSIWYG editor) had put ... tags around my smarty tag, which seemed to be causing the problems - removed that and it all work...

Re: CGCalendar admin area event list change from American format dates?

Perfect!   ;)

Thank you very much Peciura, this is exactly what I needed.  The admin area is now showing dates in 22/Sep/2009 format.

It would be even nicer to eventually see the Calguys Calendar Settings tab have this option, but this is a great solution for now.

Thanks again!

Re: Image Linking issue (1.5.1)

The problem is that the self_link uses {cms_selflink} style, go to tiny admin and the advanced tab and change the self link to style and it will use the image instead of the text of image link to make a link... You are right, thank you Dr. CSS.  That does seems to solve it.  For others, this is how...

[solved] CGCalendar admin area event list change from American format dates?

In CGCalendar admin area event list (the default page you come to when you hit Content -> Calguys Calendar), the events show dates in American format, e.g. 11/06/2009 for 6 November 2009.  My content managers are all English and to them (and in fact a large proportion of the world's population) 11/0...

[solved]CGCalendar CMSMS internal link is not parsed in my upcominglist template

Hi In Calguys Calendar (which is great BTW :)) I have an event.  In the Details box when editing the event I have used TinyMCE to add details of the event - including an internal link to another page which I added using the "Insert link to cmsms-page" button.  The line looks like this: For...

Re: All pages coming up missing, hosting support is useless, can anyone help?

Main site and /admin seems to be working OK for me too.

BTW from your admin screen, looks like you have an old version of CMSMS?  It's the one with dark blue/green background and white palm tree.  If you have got to the bottom of the problems you mention, it would be worth upgrading IMHO.

[solved] Re: Cannot see the "Add New Content" link

Hi Ronny

Thanks very much for explaining this to me - I was not aware it worked that way.  I have now made the Main Editor group an additional editor in most pages and the user can see the Add New Content link.

Thanks again!

[solved] Cannot see the "Add New Content" link

Hi I have a user in the "Main Editor" group who cannot see the "Add New Content" link, even though in Users & Groups > Group Permissions the Add Pages tick box is ticked for that group. Logging in as admin, I can see the "Add New Content" link OK. Apart from Add Pag...

Re: CMSMS posting tweets to twitter.com?

Hi Jeremy & calguy - this sounds great, just the sort of thing I was thinking.  I especially like the idea of calendar generated entries because a client of mine is running a calendar but not a news or blog area at the moment. So perhaps 24 hours before an event in the calendar, a tweet could be...

Re: Content Type 'Separator' in 1.6.x

I am using 1.6.4 (one down from the latest) on a site and I can see separators OK in my menu, so it's not a problem in that release.  What release are you using?  Have you definitely chosen Separator in the content type drop down?  Is your separator showing as active in your current pages list?
