Re: what can I use instead of Advanced Content for check box
True true, if I was able to get a module to do what I wanted, I shouldn't have used Advanced Content. The problem was that I needed a hierarchical solution where each element WAS the parent or child, not simply belonged to the hierarchy group. And that's exactly what cmsms pages are. Anyway, water u...

Re: help with company directory
Depending on the number of hierarchy items you will have, it's certainly possible to just use a tree of pages to represent each location, and then have a different company directory tag on each page. This way you could use categories, or custom fields to display the locations you want for each place.

Re: what can I use instead of Advanced Content for check box
I like the implementation of cgutils, and how you can create all of your blocks and then easily copy/paste the code in. The one thing that made Advanced Content GREAT was the ability to organize those content blocks into sections and tabs. I've done a few content block intense layouts with dozens of...

Oh, interesting point. I guess it might be necessary to install products then. You won't need to use it though.

That's the first time you've installed Gallery Calguy? Man, I love that module and CGSmartImage is crucial for how I set up my Gallery templates.

Re: selfregistration hide radio button
I haven't heard any way to remove that 'package selection' page, but if you select the package and hit 'next', you will find a unique URL for the following page.
It's possible to send people directly to the unique URL and bypass the need to select a package.

Re: selfregistration with subscription do i need cart module
You do not need the products module, but I believe you will need the cart module. The cart is the place your registration will hang out before going to the orders module.

If you did an upgrade make sure that you go into user preferences and select your wysiwyg.

TinyMCE problems in 1.10.1 navigating upload folders
After upgrading a new site from 1.9.4.3 to 1.10.1 the default wysiwyg changed to microtiny. So I went to the forge and grabbed a new copy of TinyMCE and installed that. After turning TinyMCE on, and setting advanced file management options here is my problem: When trying to upload a file, or upload ...

Re: Having problems uploading an image
You can also upload images via the Image Manager link under the "content" menu. But yes, easiest way is to go into TinyMCE and check that "show advanced file management" button. Make sure to check it on the "Advanced backend settings", this is the settings the site admi...

Re: Defining Global Content
Global content blocks are often called in the HTML template. If you determine which template your homepage uses, go open the template and look for that area of the page. There will be a bit of text that says {global_content name="whatever the name is"} - This will tell you which global con...

Re: MicroTiny WYSIWYG editor
Thats the basic idea. I know that in TinyMCE, the dropdown would get populated by ALL of your styles by default (which could end up a huge mess). So this feature allows you to set classes (say .primarycolor or .fltrtimg) and give the user a small set of useful classes to apply in the wysiwig. So cre...

Not sure why, but my account won't allow me to change the username. Am I in the wrong place? (See attatched).

Forum question -- Change forum username/displayname?
Is it possible for me to change my username/display name here on the cmsms forums, or do I need to just create a new account?
