FrontEndUsers - what if I have more than 500 FEUs?
Hi, Just a question, I am sure it is something I have misconfigured. On the FrontEnd User Managment page, it only lists a maximum of 500 users. If I set the number to less than this, I don't get a "next" button to see the next x-hundred users. If I have more than 500 users I only see 500 u...

don't use hyphens
This is a mysql issue, not specifically a CMS Made Simple issue but in as much as CMSMS runs on MySQL it is relevant. I just did a major server upgrade (running Plesk on CentOS so did "yum update") and one of my CMSMS websites disappeared. On looking for the database I found eventually tha...

Re: Formbrowser sanity check
Saving things with FormBrowser - the job of FormBrowser is to retrieve the contents of a FormBuilder's saved data. As a convenience this data may then be rendered to the page in something approaching the way the original form was rendered but don't be fooled into thinking that FormBrowser acts the w...

Hi As FormBrowser's documentation is not quite there - am I right in thinking that if I am using a FormBrowser of form "blah" then all of the field of form "blah" are available to me in the template? I want to build the form in the template rather than just cycle through "fo...

Re: formbuilder unable to reorder form elements
hang on "on my windows pc" - as in on a server hosted locally? Maybe the problem is with windows permissions so that formbuilder thinks it has updated but actually you need to update the module manually? Remember CMSMS is targetted at php5 on apache running under linux / unix, there may be...

FEU users expire when they shouldn't, how to unexpire?
Hi, I have built a fairly complex system enabling people to register for a conference. Rather than enter all the registration details into a formbuilder form then enter them all again into a Self-reg form I have copied and repurposed someone else's UDT that does it for me: global $gCms; $FEU = $gCms...

formbuilder unable to reorder form elements
Hi, I am having difficulty reordering form elements in formbuilder - it seems to be ignoring my request once I have hit the "Save" button. To try to diagnose I have installed a fresh copy of CMSMS on my server with just a single module installed - formbuilder. Problem occurs when changing ...

Please could Archiver be removed from the Module Manager
I don't know where to post this. It is a quality assurance issue as much as anything else. Archiver is no longer compatible with the latest version of CMS Made Simple, however it is still in the latest list of modules in the Module Manager. Archiver currently prevents users from update Global Conten...

Re: formbrowser not browsing forms
In this case I wasn't calling the formbrowser in the module call on the page by the right id. eg. {formbrowser browser="wrong_name"} what then happened, when I used the right name, was that the whole thing disappeared after the formbrowser tag. So the whole page rendered up to the formbrow...

or you could try facelift image replacement
Or you could try facelift image replacement - http://facelift.mawhorter.net/ Uses GD and javascript/DOM to do the image replacement, leaving your sourcecode peachy for the search engines and degrading gracefully on browsers that don't support the features it uses. No need for flash / html5 elements ...

Re: moving servers from mysql 4 to mysql 5 - apparently my keys are too long... HELP
I have external access to the new db but not the old one, I don't think. But I can have a look at mysql migration tool. I can always temporarily install mysql 4 and copy the database over if I need to. But first I will try the editing you have suggested
Thanks

It looks like you're moving either from or to (or between) 1&1 packages. I use 1&1, for my sins. If this is not solved please let me know, I might be able to help...
