The idea of the "down for maintenance" mode at Site Admin > Settings - Global Settings > Maintenance Mode is to change every page to a message to imply "we're working on the site at the moment". It's not meant to output an HTTP error.
EDIT: This is wrong, see below...

Re: CMS 1.10.3 Mailer Question
That software was released the best part of 10 years ago. Rather than trying to troubleshoot your time would be better spent upgrading. As a first step you could paste the system info so we can see what modules are installed - instructions in my footer.

DIGI3, with your tips I was able to go back to my backup and successfully upgrade the site and change its ListIt2 to LISE.

Re: Question to the community about my own modules
Hi Bess, I am glad you still have some love left for CMSMS. O0 I have used your Quotes Made Simple (Reloaded) - thank you! It works well but if I was doing the same job today I would use LISE which is very flexible: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/lise Thanks for continuing to be part of our c...

LISE not importing a ListIt2 instance after upgrade
Upgrading a site from 1.11.something. Upgraded to 1.12.2 without issue. Upgraded to 2.2.15. It has an instance of ListIt2. To upgrade this and get it working on 2.2.15 I installed LISE and then clicked: Extensions > LISE > Import from existing LI2 instances: Sadly this gives a 500 error: [30-Mar-202...

Re: FormBuilder Date Picker Default To Blank
Well I had a look at the page and its HTML and could not see anything obvious. I see you have autocomplete=off. In Chrome, my browser happily populates name, address etc. but not birthday. Same on my phone. Maybe someone else has some ideas.

Re: FATAL ERROR: could not load module ModuleManager for upgrade
A couple more ideas:
- did you clear cache? Site Admin > System Maintenance > Cache and content
- white screen is often a PHP error - look in your host's error list for errors

Re: Sticky Menu or Floating Header
is it possible to create a template that uses a basic page with a sticky or floating head or top menu? Welcome. As DIGI3 has said, anything you can do in HTML you can do in CMSMS. So the answer to your question is yes. It's all done with templates and replacing static text in your HTML template wit...

Re: Duplicate pages
CMSMS just looks at the last part of the URL after the final / when deciding what content to show. In this case kursovaia-rabota-v-dnepre.html. So you can put any path in e.g. https://astra-net.com.ua/anythinghere/anything/kursovaia-rabota-v-dnepre.html and CMSMS will show the correct page. That is ...

Re: SitemapMgr: sitemap-pages.xml not generating
I don't have other websites at this host and I am not sure of the full history of this site. So it's quite possibly something funny going on with either. I have removed the module (which I have used successfully on other sites).
Thanks for your help.

Thanks Rolf. I uninstalled, removed, reinstalled, cleared cache. sitemap-pages.xml is still missing and I see installation errors in the admin log, see attached.

SitemapMgr: sitemap-pages.xml not generating
Installed SitemapMgr. Added permissive_smarty and root_url to config.php. I see "The install process will automatically create a robots.txt, a sitemap.xml and a sitemap-pages.xml file" in the help. The site is showing sitemap.xml but /assets/sitemaps/sitemap-pages.xml is showing a 404 erro...
