There are usually 3 profiles in the TinyMCE admin pages and each one is for something different and 1 is for the front end use...

Have you checked the profiles in TinyMCE to see if it has that button enabled..?

I used to use 1&1 a long time ago but left after the site took minutes to render and they told me it was my scripts that needed to be tightened up, just last month I moved my last customer off of there servers as they charged too much for their service and the interface left a lot to be desired....

I would check the template for escape|html or some such in the product call...

You should be able to add a subdomain in your cPanel which will give you that URL no need for htaccess except maybe for pretty URLs and...

Actually I've tried this on a couple of sites, 1.12.2 and latest and none did anything especially let me see any files/folders...

I believe he was speaking of an anti-virus on the server not a local one...

You may want to make EN or ES first as a section header then when you get children pages change them to an internal redirect to the first child page...
