Re: Any chance of an 'A' 'B' 'C' listing for news module

Open file action.browsecat.php (should be in folder modules/News) Around line 31 replace this line: This isn't a valid solution anymore.  News has been significantly changed, and it should be possible to do this without any code hacking.  Using browsecat, properly setup category hierarchy and a lit...

Re: Version 1.8: Known issues and fixes

We're aware of the admin slowness issues.  Sometimes we concentrate so much on the frontend being fast and stable, that we forget about the backend being snappy as well.  We believe we have a fix which we'll test for a day or two. If you want to test it yourself (and please do, we could use the feed...

Excellent.  I'm glad you found a good example.  I didn't have one in mind this morning to point you towards.

Re: ContentPostRender not available in 1.8 anymore?

All the callbacks have been deprecated for a long time.  1.2 or something.  There is a equivalent ContentPostRender event that you can use in it's place.

Re: CMSMS1.8 - Fatal error: LogoutPost()

Your admin panel didn't get upgraded, probably because it's in "cmsadmin" instead of "admin".  Make sure to move the files over to the directory you're using, or start using the "admin" directory instead.

Re: Admin Site in 1.8 SLOW

We realized this not very long after we sent the files off and quickly fixed it.  If you grab a fresh version, it should fix the problem.  Sorry about that.

Re: Newsletter made simple - Hosts email quota limits emails per hour

Because of the nature of PHP, the job has to be running inside of your web browser and within a certain timeout limit.  Therefore, there'd be no way to be able to automatically call code like that an hour later. The way around that would be some sort of manual process where when you process a job, y...
