In cmsms 9.2 with htmlarea module the add/modify link features don't work. You get the popup box and you can select the target drop down menu but you cannot type in the 2 text fields.
I can duplicate this in Firefox but it doesnt seem to effect IE

Re: mysqli_real_connect: warning
Of course, you can't just change the format... you need to also reset all of your current passwords after you make this change. You are talking bout the database password not the user passwords in the admin right? I have a bunch of installs all with the older setting, if a new version requires it ...

Re: mysqli_real_connect: warning
Right on.
Perhaps someone could explain the real differences between the 2 choices. I think I have always chosed the older version perhaps as being more compatible?

Re: Is CMS what I should use?
Do all the pages of the web site have to be in CMS Made Simple, I cannot just use it for the one diary page? You can use cmsms for that purpose. Just extract cmsms into a subdir in your wwwroot like yourdomain.com/diary and the diary page will be yourdomain.com/diary/index.php. That would work just...

Re: mysqli_real_connect: warning
If memory serves me, during the installation you are given a drop down choice of your mysql version. Have you tried changing that? I think I had a problem with that on a windows test box and I just set it to use the older mysql version and it worked. Otherwise, make abesolutely sure that the files i...

Re: PHPLayers: Using a subset of content to do a menu
I know I asked this before but I can't remember. Does/will the new bullet menu have an argument so it knows where it is without specifying the start_element? i.e. I would like a template to be used with many content items with 2 child objects each. I would like to put the bulletmenu in the template ...

Re: Problem After installation..
I didn't realise that the default install was a persistent connection. I work almost entirely with shared servers and I guess I have just got a good host that allows it. I know for a fact I have a good host because he gave me shell access on a shared account last week to do some major forum export/i...

Re: PT SLUG a MUG now on CMS Made Simple
Nice job, looks good. I like the color scheme and the layout of content with the bar to the left. On the gallery http://www.ptslug.org/gallery/index.php you should either edit the images that make the shadows or make the table that the content is in white and perhaps with a thick purple border to ke...

Very nice. I like the colors and the header image of the tree in the snow reminds me of home (North Pole, Alaska).

Re: mysqli_real_connect: warning
that error usually indicates that the mysql server could not be found. So, check that the mysql service is running and make sure it has the right port number. If you are running this on a windows box from the command prompt type 'netstat -a' and look for the port number 3306 (host:port#) under the l...

Re: Problem After installation..
Is this during the installation or after when you click on the link to your new cms site?
It sounds an awful lot like a php function has been disabled by your host. Re-upload cmsms (backup your config.php) and see if it works. Otherwise do another clean install.

Re: Is CMS what I should use?
Sounds like a good fit for CMSMS. For your diary page you could use the news module it you want time stamps. Or you could just use a regular old content page, though it could get pretty long depending on the length of your posts. Make a login for whomever will do the work or make a single logon and ...

unrecognized tag 'title'. It worked... then it didn't.
I was using the bulletmenu tag for links for the main pages on section headers. Here is my code: Here are all the pages available in the {title} section: {bulletmenu start_element="3"} It used to work fine, and when I say used to I mean 10 mins ago! I had gotten half done putting this code...
