you must use the cmsmadesimple-1.8.2-full.tar.gz and not the diff-version.

The styling of your menu depends on the stylesheet. The best you can do is to start your website from one of the themes with a topmenu that came with your cmsmadesimple.

I have the same problem with one.com but strangely enough only with websites I activated during the last 10 month. Older sites all work perfect.

try uninstrall TinyMCE, then install tinyMCE. It worked for me under previous versions of CMS Made Simple

You have to download TinyMCE for CMSMadeSimple via http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/project/files/12. I presume yoy downloade Version 3.3b2 of TinyMCE from http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/, but that versione is not compatible with CMSMadeSimple

you didn't change the background in the last line.

/* this will keep IE6 from flickering on hover */
  background: url(uploads/ngrey/logoCMS.png) no-repeat left top;

change it to

/* this will keep IE6 from flickering on hover */
  background: url(uploads/images/vivid-logo.png) no-repeat left top;

version 2.3.2 doesn't solve this problem.

Downloading the modules from the forge and uploading them to the website did the trick as well.

to prevent hacking or abuse of your site, it's best to protect your tmp-directory with a .htaccess-file.

Allow from 127.0.0.1

I have the same problem, when I click on the filebrowser in the popup-window a new popup appears and the system freezes .
