Re: Long time listener, first time user : )

Great site! Really nice to see the interactivity within in it

Questions:

1. For the blog, did you use the news module, BlogMS, or just the simple Blog module?

2. RSS; how did you implement the RSS link on the homepage, the old way through the news module, or using cgfeedmaker?

Re: Convention Centre Website

Great site! I am actually building one for a convention centre as well, and this is a good base to show my account execs to use CMSMS. Question about the top navigation. If they wanted to add a new first level nav item (i.e. Planners, About CTCC, etc...), they would have to come back to you to add it...

Re: Javascript errors with Special Characters in User entered field names

Just figured it out what is going on. The word I was having trouble with is: l'emplacement If i typed in l'emplacement by hand, i was getting an error...but if I copied and pasted that word from a word document, the apostrophe comes out formatted as below: l’emplacement and it works then, no errors.

Re: Javascript errors with Special Characters in User entered field names

I just encountered that same problem...As I was entering my page names in French, I would get the same javascript error.

Problem is, because the french language uses the apostrophe ('), I cant tell editors not to use it in their menu text field.

[SOLVED] Upgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.4.1b

This may be a silly question, but how do I upgrade from 1.4.1. to 1.4.1b?

Are there specific files I should replace?

Instructions would be helpful!

Thanks,

Re: New Sites

For the left menu on http://www.groovy-entertainment.co.uk/, is that database generated, or did you manually define and create the images for the links?

Search module working like the one under CMSMS Forge

Is there a search module that works like the one under CMSMS Forge (http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/) where you have a drop down menu, and can choose what sub section to search in?

Direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Re: New CMSMS site - CnocSuain.com

Nice site !

I am having a problem with my search module, where when I search for a special character like '&', i get an error like this:

Search Results For "&"

No Results Found!

But it works on your site...how did you get the search feature to search for special characters?

Re: Getting a page's root parent's alias

I've inserted the code for getting the parent title, still not working...I am using CMSMS 1.2.3, and I do have the title defined.

All I get is:

The root parents' title of this page is:

and then it is blank
