Re: How To: Auto-fill News URL field
Hi Charles. I found out why I was getting d,news-detail added to my News url. In Design Manager, if you set a default template for News detail then you don't need to add the detailtemplate parameter to the News tag. This was my News tag: {News summarytemplate="news-summary-main" detailtemp...

Re: News module links to detail pages - revisited
I have found the answer to my own question! In Design Manager, if you have set a default template for the News detail, then you don't need to include the detail template parameter in the News tag. I was including the detail template parameter, even though I had set the default and this is why the d,...

News module links to detail pages - revisited
Hi. Bailiwick posted about a problem with the URL of a News detail item having "/d,news-detail" at the end of the URL. Here is link to that post made on 27 Sep 2019: https://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=81636&p=344063&hilit=news+url#p344063 The post is over 6 mon...

Re: How To: Auto-fill News URL field
Hi Christine, I haven't tried your method but this looks to be a worthwhile thing to do, and the article seems to explain the process clearly. FWIW my own pretty URLs don't have the "/d,news-detail" bit at the end. I can live with the numbers in the middle. Hiya Charles. Thanks for taking...

How To: Auto-fill News URL field
I have written an article on how to auto-fill the News URL field from the News title at the click of a button. The button functionality includes replacing spaces with hyphens, setting to lower case etc. This removes the need for re-typing into the URL field. For example, the News title "How to ...

Re: Content Manager - Internal Page Link for removed page
I think it's fixed in 2.3 beta. But anyway for 2.2.x it might be a good idea to file a bug report. I could add a fix/work-around to the bug report once you have filed it. Thanks for responses, Digi3 and Velden. I have raised bug report - didn't know who to assign it to, though. http://dev.cmsmadesi...

Re: Content Manager - Internal Page Link for removed page
Hi. I have been digging around my Internal Page Link problem and I think I have uncovered a little bug. If the destination parent is a Section Header, the child pages in the adjacent dropdown defaults to the first page - there is no "None" option available in list. But that value is not as...

Content Manager - Internal Page Link for removed page

Utilities module - editContentTab function
I am using the above function to move a couple of fields around the Content Manager tabs. But I only want to do this on Content Type = Content. I am putting the following lines at top of copy of admin_editcontent.tpl: {* from the Utilities module - moving fields between tabs to make more sense *} {*...

CMSContentManager- change field title
How do I change a field title on the Edit Content page. I am using version 2.2.13.
The field titles used to be in the en_US.php language file but I cannot see the field that I want to change - Description (title attribute). I want to change this to something else.

Re: ModuleManager
There is something not quite right with the php 7.2.21 configuration and was hoping for some idea of where to look from someone who seemed to have the same problem earlier this month. I found my answer - I needed to upgrade my version of apache (to 2.4.41) as well as php. All is fine now with Modul...

Re: ModuleManager
The Module Manager works fine for most people with PHP 7.2 and CMSMS 2.2.10. I use it all the time. There was a minor service interruption today. I thought that (service interruption) but it worked fine when I switched php version back to 7.1.9 yesterday. I tried again this morning and looked at th...

Re: ModuleManager
Hi Cyc. Did you get this problem resolved yet? I am having the same problem, too. I upgraded my WAMP server to 3.1.9 and installed php version 7.2.21 as CGExtensions module wont work on earlier php versions. But now I have to set my php version to 7.1.9, go into my CMSMS admin panel, download the mo...

Re: YoastSEO for CMSMS?
That's good news, DIGI3That said, I will discuss further with the dev team as I see this as a good way to keep users from switching to other systems.
