Re: TinyMCE: not showing up any more after upgrade CMSMS from 1.3 to 1.4.1[solved]

Interesting.  I had the same issue.  Decided to reinstall 1.4.1 from scratch.  The new install editor works fine. When I delete the new install database and import from the old one, it quits working.  When I delete it and import the data from the new install it works again.  Makes me think it is a s...

Re: Session problem installing V1.4.1

*update* They said they didn't do anything.  Urg.  Prob a reboot or something fixed it.  Anyway, can't give info I don't know. ------- Well.. I sent in a trouble ticket to Host and they said to try diff folder.  Well I had several folders with several permissions settings with no luck.  Now I set ev...

Re: Session problem installing V1.4.1

I was moving a site and wanted to upgrade at the same time.  Fresh install of 1.4.1 gave me these session errors as well during installation script.  However, mine is trying to put them in /tmp folder.  It detects this from the PHP installation.  There is one at the root of my new account when it was...

Re: Call for Volunteers - Documentation

Ok.  I would like to take a shot at helping again with the documentation.  I have some ideas.  I was part of the last team that never got started it appears.  Sorry for dropping the ball. Anyway, I have about half dozen CMSMS sites up and am pretty familiar with it.  Certainly not an expert. What ar...

Re: Relaunch of documentation project

There you go devs.  Documentation Overlord(s) volunteer has arrived.

Hope you all can get a meeting together and get a strategy put together.  Then maybe volunteers could be solicited according to a proposed direction.  I am available to help.

Re: Wanted: Somebody to make a wink video of a CMS Made Simple Install

Much rather do what is fun than what is necessary.  So I spent the afternoon putting these together instead of working. Lesson - Create a page in CMSMS (HTML) http://tinyurl.com/yswb92 Lesson - Create a page in CMSMS (PDF) http://tinyurl.com/27hftd If any of the devs or the elected Doc Master are in...

Re: Wanted: Somebody to make a wink video of a CMS Made Simple Install

I too have not been around long.  Almost finished two sites with CMSMS so far.  Lending to this discussion.... Not only are videos good but nice looking documentation that can be printed or downloaded in PDF form.  There are some that would benefit or favor printing out instructions in order to foll...

Re: Topic Subjects need to be Relevant

I can sympothize with the lead developers in this project.  They want to see the project move forward and are not necessarily unwilling but are maybe uninterested in answering some of the basic questions found over and over again in the forums.  It is just not fun for them. There is nothing quite as...

Re: New Tools Module: CGSimpleSmarty

Ok. I am looking for a module that will read an email account and post the information to the news module.  Haven't done looking if already exists... Subject could be encoded to include the TITLE and CATEGORY of the news and the news would be in the body of the email.  Support for HTML with embedded...
