New CMSMS site design
It's clean and easy on the eyes, so points there, but from an accessibility standpoint, I have to take some points away because the layout is not liquid, and some text gets hidden or strays outside its background when the text is scaled up. Not everybody can read the little tiny grey text that is so...

Pretty URLs and excludeprefix page aliases
I've been writing a site with a dual menu system, which uses the 'excludeprefix' tag {menu excludeprefix='left'} to sort the pages into their appropriate menus. This is totally fine until I enable pretty URLs, and then I get something like this: http://mysite.com/top-plan-visit/top-school.html This...

Re: Only One Menu Works In IE
Well, I've tried all sorts of things, and have finally come to the conclusion that the problem is in the CSSmenu.js file, the one which is supposed to make a CSS menu work in something less than IE7. It seems like it either only supports one menu--the first one in the document structure, OR, it wou...

Only One Menu Works In IE
Hi, I'm having this problem in two different sites. In both sites, I have two separate menus, though they behave differently. There is a top horizontal menu which is working nearly* perfectly on both sites in all browsers. There is a secondary menu, vertical with drop-downs which works perfectly E...

Re: Integrating Mals-E Cart with Cataloger
Ooops. One little hitch. If you take that last bit of code as written, the shopping cart page will take you back to the *ITEM* page when you click "continue shopping," instead of taking you back to the catalog page where you were. Best to stick in this line from the original code: <input...

Re: Integrating Mals-E Cart with Cataloger
Another milestone has been reached. I went crying to Samuel, and he tossed me some code for my catalog page template. This will allow a Category page to show any number of items, each with its own buy button. Here is my template: {$notes}<span class="right">{global_content name='showcart...

Re: Integrating Mals-E Cart with Cataloger
I agree that something integrated into CMSMS is the ideal. I'm glad people are working on that, but right at the moment, I've got to get something out there so my client can go live this week, so I'm working on this. Mal's has a paid version, but the free version has worked for all my needs for yea...

Re: Integrating Mals-E Cart with Cataloger
Another bit: http://projects.jesseheap.com/all-projects/setting-up-a-summary-cart-on-your-site-with-php This is a tutorial for setting up a summary cart on a site with php. I'm the very barest novice with php, (sorta grasp what a variable is...) so we'll see how this goes. So far, all that's really...

Re: EsShop errors
Sorry, I can't help. I've gotten exactly those same errors. I'm using CMSMS 1.2. When I try adding a category, it will not be saved. When I try adding an item, it will save, but I also get a lot of warnings and errors. A page where esshop is called looks like this on my site: http://mleyva.sc54.i...

Integrating Mals-E Cart with Cataloger
I've been reading all over the place about shopping carts with CMSMS, and so far, the instructions for integrating Paypal's cart with Cataloger module seems the most likely. Cataloger seems at first glance, nicely complete and developed. I've worked with both Paypal and Mal's E carts, and have pref...

How does linkmanager work?
Has anyone else gotten this to work? Would you mind walking me through it? Even a simple line or two of explanation will probably get me started. I'm not even totally certain what it does. I'm *wanting* something that will keep track of all the links on my site, including the internal ones and l...

Re: Website just disappeard--Admin still there. SOLVED
It turns out to have been a simple user boneheaded (fatigued) error. I had a global content file called "footer," to which I accidentally included a smarty tag: {footer}. Looped. Good news is I now have the new version running, and it appears to be faster. Also, a trouble I was having wi...

Website just disappeard--Admin still there. SOLVED
:o Everything was going so well! And then the whole public side of the site just disappeared, blank, white page. All the files are still there; the admin part seems just fine. How I suspect I caused the problem: I was getting errors about Archive module every time I put something new in a global co...

Re: HELP.. cannot modify Global Content Blocks in CMSMS 1.1.4.1
I'm having a very similar problem, changes to global content blocks are not saving, whether with the WYSIWYG enabled or not. Additionally, upon clicking "submit," I get the following error. Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/abolish/public_html/cmsms/modules/Ar...
