This can be solved. You have to uninstall TinyMCE and then install it again.
I also got strange result whan customizing Tiny MCE. After uninstalling, installing TINY MCE, things were right again.

CMSMS 1.3 , TinyMCE button to apply internal links lost ?
Since I installed version 1.3 I cannot find the button to link text to internal pages.

TinyMCE, is afaik, 100% JavaScript based. Make sure you have JavaScript enabled on your local browser and don't have any ad blocking software that might be blocking it but i'm using the same browser for local/server work... if it's ok on server i assume java is running picture i forgot to upload I...
