[SOLVED]cggoogle maps spacing issue in IE7, ok in Firefox 3

Hi, Not sure if this should be under Layout and Design (CSS & HTML) or here under modules? Please feel free to move it! When we use cggooglemaps there is a lot of padding above the map in IE7, whilst the the map displays properly in Firefox 3.0 and Opera 9.62. cmsms 1.5.1 cggooglemaps 1.1 No ext...

[SOLVED]

Hi Cyberman,

Sorry, meant to post! It was a permissions problem on the servers. They're both shared hosting accounts, although with different companies!

Thanks for you reply.

Warning: install directory still exists. Please remove it completely. -- I Did!

Hi Again :) The message - 'Warning: install directory still exists. Please remove it completely.' comes up when I log into my admin panel on two sites (different servers, cmsm 1.3.1, set up weeks apart etc..) I have of course fully removed the install directories - and verified so! This has only hap...

Album Module Redirects to Login

Hi All, I am using Album 0.9.3, cmsms 1.3.1. My problem is, when using the default album template, if you click on a thumbnail you are redirected to the admin panel if logged in, or to the login page if you are not. Works fine with the random template! It sounds like some kind of permissions problem...

Re: Urgent developer needed {Done}

Hi, Have you found a dasigner to do your redesign? We do complete website design with cmsms and other cms systems. If you are interested, I can show you some of our work, and if you'd like to talk over the phone, or MSN then that's fine! We're based in Ireland to give you timezone info. Thanks, Anth...

Re: permissions Problem with Module Manager

Hi Calguy,

Ok, understand that. So, is there any way of getting around the permissions issue for removing/updating modules?

Thanks,
Anthony

permissions Problem with Module Manager

Hi Again! Somebody might have some idea why this is happening, my hosting company sure doesn't! When I install modules via the module manager the module owner is set to 'apache', whereas, previously installed (when the system was installed) modules have owner 'admin'. I have had a closer look at oth...

DLCodepress Errors

Hi, When I install and attempt to use DLcodepress, I get the following error: "Fatal error: Class 'DLSupport' not found in /home/n47660/public_html/modules/DLCodePress/DLCodePress.module.php on line 232" I am using cmsms 1.2.5, DLSupport 1.3 (default in module manager), and DLCodepress 1.0...

Re: Which module to use for thousands of products?

Hi Duketown, Calguy, Thanks, for your feedback. I was using the Cataloger module for another small project and I was originally thinking of using this, but i don't see it having the flexibility of Products. Having installed the Products module it seems to be what I need. Shop Made Simple doesn't hav...

Re: Which module to use for thousands of products?

Hi Calguy, Thanks for replying. Well, given the search module integration, Products seems like my only option. I understand what you are saying about the optimisation of the indexes. However, I'm a little confused with the flat category idea! Is this a category with no sub-categories and which conta...

Re: Which module to use for thousands of products?

Hi Duketown! Thanks for your quick response. I need to look at how search will interact with the products catalog. I definitely need to be able to search products by description at a minimum. Thanks, for your offer of help. I need to explore a bit and think about what exactly I need. It's hard to kn...

[Solved] Which module to use for thousands of products?

Hi All, How do the 'Products', 'Cataloger' and 'Shop Made Simple' modules stack up when you need to (eventually) have thousands of products listed, but with no ecommerce - i.e. no shopping cart or payments etc... just a very big catalog really? I also need to create small groups of related products ...

Re: Bizarre happenings when client edits

Hi Again! Anybody have an idea of what the overhead on say 10 - 12 global content blocks being loaded? When a GCB is loaded, assuming the content is not itself calling queries from the database, is there only a single database call to retrieve the content in the GCB for each one loaded? Thanks, Anth...

Re: Bizarre happenings when client edits

Hi Ronny, Thanks! That makes a lot of sense! However, one small catch in this case is that each Product section is on its own page and has three different products which can be purchased. This would mean a new GCB for each, I think. Which also means anytime a new product section is to be added the e...
