[solved] file manager initial path
Let me begin by saying "stoopid users!" Working on the dev site. Everything is fine. Then the project manager decides to go in and start messing around. She has somehow gotten the File Manager starting in the root directory instead of /uploads/. Of course she doesn't remember what she did ...

Re: FormBrowser export results in blank white screen
Just noticed that checking Non-memory Excel exports? did actually create an excel doc on the server but it only had a fraction of the entries there should have been. I manually edited that entry in the db and it's working now.
Thanks anyway.

[solved]-ish FormBrowser export results in blank screen
cmsms 1.9.4.1, FormBrowser 0.4 I can't export my results. No errors. No info. Just a blank white screen. There are a *lot* of responses, 135 pages x 10 responses on each page. Could this be a reason? I've tried checking Non-memory Excel exports? but I get the same result. Any thoughts? Thanks Amanda

Re: snapshot of all content?
Dump the database to an SQL file. Thank you for the suggestion but if it's some outside person who just wants to make sure the content says a certain thing, they're not going to able to read all the rest of it just to get to the content. This isn't my first time at the cmsms rodeo (joined aug '07)....

Re: snapshot of all content?
Maybe explaining better what you mean by archive would help us help you... Even though they asked for a cms they were thrown that there aren't html files on the server they can keep a copy of. I guess for these "regulatory purposes" (I don't know what they are) they need an archive of con...

snapshot of all content?
I love cmsms and use it often for client sites. One such client is now saying that for "regulatory purposes" they need an archive of content. They don't have many pages so I've suggested good ol' right click > Save File As... but I don't know they're going to be happy with this solution. A...

Re: search results for news and company directory linking to resultpage
Some more info: I started playing with the SearchResultWithParams option and realized it's really the returnid that's messing up my url. The returnid was always the id of my search result page even though I wanted it to be the id of the passthru detailpage (passthru_News_detailpage="press-rele...

search results for news and company directory linking to resultpage
I have a site wide search form in my header that's basically {search resultpage="search-results"}. The search results are great. Pages are linking to the pages they should. The problem is that the news article links and company directory links are staying on the search results page. The ...

Re: [SOLVED] Is there a maximum number of child pages?
Thanks for the suggestions! The client has decided to use godaddy (*ick*) for hosting so I can't control the php version being used. I'll see if I can request an upgrade. I'll check out those modules even though I already have the store locator working and now it's just a matter of inputting the da...

[SOLVED] Re: Is there a maximum number of child pages?
OMG it's so weird. I added a few more with the Store Locator (parent level) collapsed, tried changing the theme, expanded the section, added another store and it worked fine. Then I changed it back to the new theme and added another store and it still worked fine. I don't know if it was pushing thr...

For the sake of space I'll only show the guys I think might be relevant. Please let me know if you think others might shed some light. [SOLVED] Is there a maximum number of child pages?
I just upgraded to cmsms 1.7 I'm doing a google maps store locator for a new site and while waiting for the final design I'm adding some/all the stores. The store locator is a 1st level page (also in the main nav) and I'm putting all the stores as children/sub pages. There's a lot more than I thou...

Re: Page alias defaulting to 'alias'
So that's my problem. I need to change the template and I've been doing that before entering the menu text / title.
With default template, alias = ""
With template change, alias = "alias"
Thanks!

[SOLVED] Page alias defaulting to 'alias'
I'm currently working with cmsms 1.6.7 but I've noticed this with other versions too. For some reason, all of a sudden, all my page aliases are defaulting to 'alias', 'alias-1', etc instead of transforming the menu text. Or does it use the page title? Anyway, at first the aliases where what they w...
