Yes, I agree with Alby. When I look at http://www.xuankong-liufa.com/cmsmadesimple/cmsmadesimple-1.2.3/ it is missing all CMSMS files and many of the folders too. Not likely that I can help, but....

The installation script does not start until you get to Step 8 of the installation instructions. You have to do steps 1-7 manually.

And it worked once I remembered to "Turn WYSIWYG on/off" - dag blame TinyMCE!

Yeah, there some strangeness with TinyMCE and code - screws up the PayPal code and converts -> into something like -&gh;. You have to switch from WYSIWYG mode, fix/paste and save.
