[SOLVED] Sites down-Need help with database connection string

Hi there, A few days ago my web host let me know that they were moving the mysql databases to a new server. They provided the new connection string mysql2.sqlsvr.net and the move would take place last night. So, I downloaded the config.php files for the 5 sites, saw where the connection string was a...

Re: FCKeditor not showing up on clients computer

Thank you nivekiam! I backed up the old fckeditor and following the directory structure uploaded the new one. It works!  The only problem I see is that when a page load I get a pop up box that says "Unknown toolbar item UniversalKey". Just click ok and it loads just fine. Other than that e...

Re: FCKeditor not showing up on clients computer

Oh... Thanks.
I thought that the upgrade would be in the form of a module. So, I just upload this new version into the folder for fckeditor in the modules section? I just want to be sure I'm doing the right thing and don't want to mess anything up with this site.

Re: FCKeditor not showing up on clients computer

Thank you, thank you. That sounds like a simple enough problem to fix.

Ok, I finally found the page for fckeditor http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/fckeditorx/ but as you said it's from 12/06

Do you know where I can get version 2.5?

Again thank you for your help!

[Solved] FCKeditor not showing up on clients computer

Hi there, I have set up a site for a client using version 1.2. I installed the fckeditor and used it to set up the site. To my embarrassment, while showing my client her site on her Mac computer, fckeditor did not show up, only the html. I logged in as me, with all the priviledges, and when we go to...

Re: Need Horizontal menu showing current page children

Hi Ronny, Thank you for responding. I guess I'm not explaining myself very well. I was looking around this site and on the "How-to" pages they use the type of navigation I'm talking about http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/How_to the tabs that say "edit" and "history&qu...

Need Horizontal menu showing current page children

I need a horizontal menu that will only show up when the current page has children and display the child page links. I've searched all over the forum and wiki. I want it to work like the "Generic Sub Menu" but it looks like Ellnav was combined when menu manager was created. I also do not w...

{Solved} Re: Install problems

If you are on a windows server, ask support to change the permissions for you. chmod is for Linux. It may work to chmod yourself but it's not intended to work that way. Also, make sure that someone hasn't installed Front Page server extensions. It resets all permissions for the files.  I used Front ...

Hi In the last two or three months I have set up 3 cmsmadesimple sites for my clients. All with the same hosting company with the installations being identical with no problems. Re: Menu Manager Smarty Error

Thanks for the info. I hadn't checked the menu in other browsers yet. Thank you for doing that. I'll try another menu and see how that works.

Thank you very much for your time.
