There seems to be some changes to the software in the latest version. Here's what I did to get the TinyMCE editor to show up on my installation of version 1.2.5: The editor is now a MODULE. So go to Modules under the Extensions menu and install TinyMCE. Once that is installed, go to User Preferences...
